Requirement Types and Forecasts

Good morning,

We have a forecast loaded into SAP, is it possible to have different Requirement types as follows.

Make to Stock Orders consume forecat

Makt to Order Orders do NOT consume the forecast.

If this is possible where is this set-up/config'd

Hi,

Make strategy group 20. In that make combination of strategy 20 & 40.

When make to order sales order , it wont consider forecast stock.

When make to stock sales order, it will consume forecast stock (change requirement type in sales order).

Create strategy group by using tcode OPPQ.

Hi Guy,

You can use Strategy 10 for this.

Assign strategy group 10 in which the strategy 10 alone is maintained in the material master MRP3 view.
