eCATT: Multiple users in a complex test script

Hello,

I'm using eCATT on a Basis v6.20 and I want to create complex test scripts in module PSM.

In this module the are many dispositions, which have to be approved by another user (so the user, who created the disposition isn't able to approve it).

Has anyone an idea, how to implement a user change in a test script or knows a pretty workaround?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards,

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

Maybe you can split your script in two.

One is called with destination1 and user1

The second one with destination2 and user2.

Or do you have more than 2 users?

Yes, that worked for me: I used a second eCATT for Approving, which I started from the other eCATT with the REF()-Function, where I was able to specify another RFC-Connection.

Thanks a lot,

Stefan

I understand that you called another script with REF but how do you call another script that is suppose to be executed by another user with different a profile to the first?

Can you define a different user for any script? Where do you define it?
