why delivery firest and picking next.

If material is ready ,,then pick and delivery the material

In normal business scenario, if you are doing delivery it implies u have picked up the necessary stock prior to delivery.In the case of SAP only delivery will happen once we do the goods issue .During delivery only there is a need to pick the stock for this purpose SAP made the delivery to happen prior to picking and after that picking follows.

The document flow will be updated and the relevant delivery doc will be complete once the goods issue is done

It is a normal terminology used in SAP where we dont deliver the material when we create the delivery but only its a preceding document. Only when we do PGI, the process is completed and till such time, it is treated as "open" document in SAP.
