Electronic bank reconcilation

Dear all,

i have a problem with Electronic bank reconciliation,

every time i am giving statement number as bank given to me, but my client is asking at a certain point of time there is a chance to give the same number again,(it men if bank suppose after completion of certain numbers bunk will restart the same numbers from starting, )

system is not accepting for the same number

this problem i am getting now,

please any body give the solution for this,( at least tell me is it possible to enter the same numbers again)

Hi

It is not possible to enter the same number again, if you give already used number it will chekc with the date-on which you used the number and 'll ask you to enter the balance details. If you are changing the balance details means, change the old statement - so it is not possible to give the same number again. Show the same to the client and tell the client to maintain the track whenever bank changes the number to same number range.

yes, what u r saying is absolutely right, but my client is asking the same , if possible can u say from which program the statement number is pickining up.
