i have created a UDF column in the Project form (711).
I would like to associate this UDF column with CFLs of the Business Partner.
Does anyone has the sample ?

Are you saying under the project form, when there is UDF created, we can't attached the CFL to the UDF.
Was this documented somewhere?

Once you create a Column with UDF,it will act like a SBO column.For SBO fields(System Fields) SBO will not allow you to add CFL.We tried it but failed to do.
But Work around is that you can use formatted search.

but i need those for matrix column.
I received error : "The item is not a user defined item" when trying to associate the column to CFL which has objecttype ="2".
When you create a column with UDF then you cannot assign CFL for that field.
Then you attach formatted search for that field and from code you send the keys (shift+f2)
