Hi All,
I am a technical consultant. I am working on a ticket in which the T-Code MFBF
is involved. Can someone pls explain me the significance of it with some emphsis on
What is flushing in background.
Thanks.
Hi Saket,
MFBF transaction is releated to Repetative manufacturing production confirmation.
Since Rem Period based production, produced quantites are confirmed by doing backflush (MFBF)at end of shift or day.
once u do the backflush for Header Material ,the following things will happen
1. posting GR for finished product, GI for components
2. posting production cost for Product cost collecter.
Total cost involved in production will be booked for the material
Like production order confirmation in Discereate Manufacturing, it is prodution confirmation process.
i hope this will help clear your doubt.

Hi,
MFBF is used for confirm the material in Repetitive manufacturing.
When doing MFBF for that material, auto goods receipt will take place. In background auto goods issue will take place for that material item.
Scrap also can confirm in this. Use planned order field, to confirm against planned order.
There are two methods to confirm the material. 1.material wise. 2. Reporting point.
Reporting point confirmation is like operation wise confirmation. Make indicator in RP for RP backflush.
When doing confirmation, goods receipt movement type 131, goods issue mvt type 261.
To check the confirmation use MB51 tcode.
Reward points if useful.
Regards,
Dharma
