Indexmanagement-Service is not active

Hi Everybody,

in our Portal environment (EP7 patch 12) we have different errors, but don't know why.

When we go to Systemconfiguration->Knowledgemanagement->Index-Administration the View says that the Indexmanagement-Service is not active! Also in the Monitoring there are Runtime errors shown when calling Systemconfiguration->monitoring->Knowledge management->indexmonitor and crawler-monitor. But the TREX-Monitor shows all servers in status green.

Did we miss some configurations? Hope somebody can help!

Hi Everybody,

I don't know what was happening, but after I installed Patchlevel 13 everything works fine.

Hi,

To activate Indexmanagement-Service:

Navigate to System Admin>System Config>KM>Content management>Global Services>Show advanced options>Index Management Service & Activate it...

Hi Senthil,

thanks for your quick answer! I wanted to activate the Index Management Service as you mentioned, but it already is activated. What else could be wrong?

I'm now going thru the the saphelp you gave me, but without any results yet.

In a clustered environment, the scheduled tasks require assignment to a particular CM system.
