You need to add mime types in create mime types for full text search under settings for storage systems in img like application/msword, application/vnd.ms-excel for word and excel files.
If you have access to TREX administration, stop TREX, go to TREXValidMimeTypes.ini under TREX install path in your environment and verify that mime types required are defined in this file. If not add them under existing file types e.g. application/msword, and rerun TREX.
