Hi Friends

I have a Problem in Printing Chinese Character in Smartforms.

In Preview it displays as ### instead of Chinese characters (for data from database table)

If we hard coded the Chinese characters in Smartforms it shows as unknown character in the preview.

If we use Standard text ,then the Chinese characters are merging.

How to correct this problem.

I have to print all Chinese characters

1. From data base

2. Hard coded one

3. Written in standard text

in Correct format.

Hi,

Read the SAP notes regarding printing and displaying chinese symbols. Firstly, it is important to use the font which has all the symbols you need in it's character set. Secondly, you have to setup your output device type correctly (transaction SPAD).

There might be additional efforts you need to put into this, take a look at SAPnotes!

Here are some SAP notes which helped me deal with Serbian characters: 8929, 83502, 423003, 776507.

Hi Arun

It could also be problem with your SAP GUI. Please check to see if there is any fix for it.
