Archiving problem for Windows OS...

Hi all,

I was trying to archive the messages. I followed the below document settings and created the archiving not able to archive the messages.

Can you check is the correct way to give a path for the Window OS for Physical path name c:saparchive<FILENAME>.

I want to move all the archive files to the saparchive folder path.

Try your Physical path name as <b>\archive\<FILENAME></b> this will help you.

There is no problem with the way the Physical path name is mentioned.

c:\sap\archive\<FILENAME>. Perfectly works in windows.

the way you are saying will not work .

Btw..did you try this yourself?

Hi All,

I gave the retention period for 20 day means the sxmb_moni messages will be deleted after 20 days or how it should be act???

HI Jane,

The pathname seems correct.

yes the messages will be archived after 20 days and would also be deleted if you have chosen the option to delete messages after they are archived while doing the configuration.
