Chage Portal Icon used in BI Query

Hi to all!

I need to change (upload and replace) a Portal Icon used in a BI query.

icon has this path when i launch my query:

http://<SERVER_NAME>/irj/portalapps/com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.mimes/base/images/exceptions/trend_up.g...

I try to find it on portal but i was not able to find it!

Where i can find it? how can i change?

Can anyone Help me?

I'm not sure of the exact path, but look for something like:

/usr/sap/#server#/#instance#/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/portalapps/com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.mimes/base/images/exceptions/

i know that i'll void the SAP support, and for my client is ok.

I try to find library <b>com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.mimes</b>,but i'm not able to find it.

Can u tell me where i cand find it? and how can i do to download it?

Hi Ugo,

It is acctually very simple

Logon with a user with administrator rights.

Goto

System Administration -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> Browse deployment

You should then be in the ROOT folder.

goto portalapps (ROOT/portalapps)

Search for the com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.mimes and click download.

Hi Ugo,

You need to redeploy the library with the image.

Download the lib com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.mimes

swap the image you need.

Then deploy the new library with the same name.

The the image should have changed persistantly.

You should know that this voids the sap support if you change the standard library.

Hi Jon,

i understeand your way to see my icon, but i think that that way cannot resolve my problem, couse in this why i change icon only in file system.

When i restart WAS Java sincronize file system (also apps folder) with database content. So this solution is temporany.
