When I try to change Layout type to ZCI, the characters become red, and it cannot be accepted. I also get a message :
"Check the Web Dynpro script of the layout"
Message no. FPUIFB103
This script could be selected from Utilities-Insert Web Dynpro Script, but this menuitem is inactive. So as a result, I cannot create ZCI forms...
Do you know a solution to this?
Thanks,
Bye,
Peter
Problem was not with designer or GUI.
Java AS server had to be patched/configured appropriately

Last time when i had a working system, I still got the cannot insert error message, but- the forms worked anyway. So problems lie elsewhere...
Does this work for you?
If not, solve this problem
So i guess you are running Adobe Designer 7.0.
Please upgrade it to 7.1 available from the sap marketplace, and then try inserting the web dynpro script again. it's a know issue.

Are you using Adobe Designer 7.0 or 7.1?
Is your webdynpro Interactive Form element set to native?

Yes and Yes . I realized now if I pressed ENTER it accepted ZCI form despite of error message anyway.
Now the problem is, when I want to add - "Insert Web Dynpro Script" from Utilities, I get the message: "Error when inserting Web Dynpro script
Message no. FPUIFB094
"
I wonder if this works in ABAP at all, or is it only for Java developers?
