Hi guys,
I am pretty new to the SAP stuff, although I have developed in ABAP for some while. My problem is the following:
I have downloaded "SAP NetWeaver 2004 - Java Trial Version" from SDN and I also could install it without any problems... Now I would like to login to the system somehow, but I do not know how??? I have already installed the SAP GUI but I do not know what to do next. How can I login and call for example the transaction SE80 or what ever? How can I call the DeveloperStudio etc. to develop my applications???
Any help is welcome! I hope I am right here...
Thanks,
ParsMan
Hi Parsman,
You only need SAPGui to logon to ABAP instance...
If you installed a Java Instance.. you need to logon using your browser... URL is in the manual.
For the J2EE engine page,
http://<hostname_with_fqdn>:500<instance_number>;
If there a portal installed,
http://<hostname_with_fqdn>:500<instance_number>/irj/portal
All this info is contained in the installation guide.
Regards
Juan

Hi Juan,
thanks a lot. I am pretty new to all that...
Can you provide me some link to the manual?
By the way:
It seems that SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe should also have been installed. Can I use this to create PDF files? If yes, how do I start the Adobe appliation? Or do I have to start it via NWDS?
Thanks,
ParsMan
