Hi Pankaj,

This error happens becauseThe request was not completed. The server is temporarily overloading or down

1) you first check your HTTP destination

try transaction SM49>Ping>

put server name in additional parameter and execute.

for more detials of error related with HTTP

http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_httpmessages.asp

http://ulysses.uchicago.edu/docs/ERROR.doc.html

2) If this is not the case

you can restart your server(JAVA engine) i thinkk it will solve your problem.

HI experts,

The error in the communication channel, showing is

"com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.ExceptionInfo: Application sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdt cannot be started. Reason: it has hard reference to resource com.sap.aii.af.svc with type service, which is not active on the server."

Can anybody tell where this service exactly reside..

How to start the adapter engine service(s) like sap.xiaf, sapxiafc

Hi,

Check out for the USer and password and also check the permissions.

Also Check

Go to :

<sid> > Server > Services > Deploy

Switch to Applications -> Check all applications have a tick and not cross against them.

Also Double check the settings in <sid> > Server > Services > UME PRovider
