What is the importance of offcycle payroll?

Off cycle payroll is run between any 2 payroll runs.

It can be run when u want to give bonus to employees on the same day instead of waiting for the next payroll run.......

If payroll results are wrong, those results can be reversed and payroll can be run again in off cycle...

and etc.

Payroll run that is carried out in addition to the regular payroll run for a specific day and for inidvidual employees.The Off-Cycle Workbench is a special user interface in the SAP System for various off-cycle operations.

Example:

You can pay an employee in advance before he or she takes leave.

You can give a bonus to an employee for special work.

As an addition to regular payroll, which carries out payroll at fixed regular intervals, this function enables you to carry out specific off-cycle payroll activities for individual employees on any day.

You can issue a check to replace payments that were originally made to an employee by check or by transfer but which the employee did not receive, or if the check is in an unusable condition (for example, torn).

You can reverse payroll results that were created by a regular or off-cycle payroll run.
