0 Channels foun in RWB

Hi,

After configuring all the staffs in XI, while trying to check the connectivity in RWB in XI (RunTime Workbench), I have found that it is not able to find any channels. It's saying "0 Channels Found".

I checked all the parameters also, they are correct. Moreover if all the parameters are not correct then I think the exception it should throw in RWB, isn't that?

Could anyone please help me actually where may be the problem be and what steps I need to follow to resolve this.

Thanks

Soumya

Hi Soumya,

at RWB there is a button "Cache Connectivity Test". Did you check that? Which result do you see?

Hi Soumya,

which of the icons are grey, yellow, green or red? Refresh the screen first.

Check out SM59 Destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI: Which user is maintained there? Does the destinatin work?

Call http://<J2EE server>:<J2EE port>/CPACache/history.jsp and click on "View confirmation XML". Do see any error messages?

Which Release do you have and which Support Level?

Hi Udo,

Its red in colour. And here is the detailed error messages in cache connectivity test:-

Connection to system null using application null lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "http://dbcip15.al.sw.ericsson.se:51700/rep/conntest/int?" with user "XIRWBUSER". Response code is 401, response message is "Unauthorized"

And I didn't understand what did you say by Call http://<J2EE server>......

Could you please let me know in details how can I proceed.

Hi Soumya,

http://<J2EE server>:<J2EE port>/CPACache/history.jsp where your J2EE server could be dbcip15.al.sw.ericsson.se, your J2EE port may be 51700. Put that adress into a browser...Are you a complete beginner?

401 Unauthorized. Check User XIRWBUSER, is he blocked (SU01)? Does he have the required profile? I think you cache connectivity test is just givin an error coz your Runtime Workbench is not working. The adaper framework error is additional.

Hi Soumya,

<J2EE server> means put instead address of your J2EE server. Go to you IB start page and take the host. <J2EE port> is the same. Take the J2EE port. The number behind the ":".

BTW: Open a OSS call and get some SAP support, it can take some days but finally they should help you. Your task is not easy to find out, you need some experience, especially SAP (PI) BASIS knowledge.

Hi Soumya,

first you need a OSS user. Ask your project leader. And open a new SDN thread for that question.

Hi Soumya,

After configuring did you activate the channel?

If you did .. just see the cache notifications..

In Integration Directory -Click on Tools -Cache Notifications. Do you see a green light?

Also in CC monitoring do you see a list of all the adapter types in dropdown box?

Hi Soumya,

Auto Cache refresh is not working.. seems like in your case..

So what you can do is select the row and click on refresh button.. i dont remember the exact ..but something like that..

or you can manually refresh the cache using the following link..

http://servername:j2eeport/CPACache/refresh?mode=full.

You need to use PIDIRUSER to refresh cache or any other user with similar authorization.

Ask your basis team to figure out why auto cache refresh is not working.

One thing i would suggest you is to check in XI server .. SM59 if INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI destination is working.

Sumit
