Dear dayanand,
Ensure work area types as follows in SPRO->Specify work areas
Type Description IDno
Co company 1000
Fc site 2000
St location 3000
Sy prod system 4000
Wp workcenter 5000
Ts activity 6000
Choose CBIH02- enter plant numberchoose create buttonenter status as active
Select the work area type authorization group (All) and save.
System picks the work area number from the number range.

Hi Janardhan,
this request has been made by me with my collegue id. I maintained work area type as plant, building and stores. then i did create number range for work area as both internal starting from 000 to 9999 and then external from AAA to ZZZZ.
But still i get internal error message when i create work area using CBHI02.
pls suggest me
