Related link is throwing portal runtime error

Hi All,

I am trying to create realted links and point them to Km documetn iview.

Steps:

I have created the Km Document iview and the iviews are pointing to word documets.

Now i have created the Pages and the pages are assigned as related links.

I have also made the Launch in new window property as -- PortalContent area.

The Problem i am facing is :::

Getting the portal runtime error when i click any of the ralated links.

The error is ::

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : pcd:portal_content/com.idb.IDBIntranet/IDBApplication/FrameworkContents/DesktopContents/IDBIntranetDesktop/frameworkPages/com.sap.portal.lightframeworkpage/com.sap.portal.lightTopLevelNavigationiView

Component Name : com.sap.portal.navigation.lighttoplevel.LightTopLevelNavigation

The exception was logged. Inform your system administrator..

See the details for the exception ID in the log file

I am unable to find the solution.

Am i missing any steps.

Could you solve this? We have the exact same problem. I will highly appreciate if you can give us some information.

I saw another post that says maybe using related link to a page instead to an iview solve the problem.
