Hi All

I confgiured SSL on J2ee and it is working fine but i have one issue if i run the https URL then system prompt me Security Alert popup window and it shows 2 warning in that.the 3 items which is appearing in that security alert windows are below. Is there any configuration so that system could not prompt us that windows

That window will confuse my end users

Below are the 3 items appearing in security alert window and when i click on "yes" button to procced then i am bel to login

1. The security certificate was issued by a company you have not choosen to trust.View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority

2. The securuty certificate date is valid

3. The name of the Security certificate is invalid or does not match the site

Please help me on this

Thanks with Regards

Hi!

That's not so unusual. This popup always shows up when one of the checks that rae usually made with SSL fails. You might be able to switch it off in your browser settings, but I'm not sure. Basically you have two issues here:

1. The trust to the certifying authority - you may have to import a root-certificate from the company which signed the certificate and take all other necessary steps to establich the Trust-relationship.

2. The URL you're using doesn't seem to match the one for which the certificate was obtained. You will have to get a new certificate for the correct URL to get rid of this issue.

Hi Padman

Thanks for your Prompt Response.I want to know some more details

Currently SSO is configured in our environment (downloading verify.der and importing the same at backend system) and for authentication we are using our corporate LDAP.

Do we also need to configure Client certificate on the SAP J2EE Engine as mentioned in this document?. Is it mandatory for SSL Configuration?

Thanks again for helping me here

Thanks with Regards
