Hi,
I want to schedule a periodic background job to run every 15 mins. But need to restrict another instance of the job to start before the previous one finishes. So that we dont have any two instance of the background job running in parallel. Can anyone suggest me how to have the job scheduled in this way.
Regards,
Hussain.

Hi,
In T-Code MDBT, u can schedule the job periodically by selecting a variant , then " Schedule Job" - click "Schedule Periodically" in the Repaeat Period pop-up menu enter the value 15 in Minutes.
With this u can schedule job for every 15 minutes periodically, but i dont think that it is possible to to restrict another instance of the job to start before the previous one finishes.
Check this and reply if there is any other possibility...
