Hello,
I am getting the error below when running forecast but it does appear that the forecast gets created. Does anyone know what would cause this message?
"Not sufficient historical values available to create average values :
thx in advance
Mike
For some forecasting models, there are some minimum number of buckets required for initialization of the model and the actual calculation through ex-post. Can you tell us for the planning object you are forecasting, how many historical buckets with non-zero values actually exist ? IN transaction /sapapo/fcstoutl, can you try to check what happens on reducing the initialization zone. I am guessing you are getting this message on running a trend-seasonal model. You may also want to check your seasonality period. Ensure you have atleast 3+ 2 full seasons of history, if planning with trend seasonal.
