Long/Short term absence reporting

Hi there experts,

Does anybody know the best way to report out on long term and short term absence data from SAP? The issue we have is identifying and distingushing between the two at the moment.

Hi Neil,

Yes.. you can set a variant in the report RPTABS50 with the required period in the calendear view. So you can set two types variant one for short term and another for Long term absences, then either you can set the background job or run whenever you need.

You can run this report either through SE38 or SA38 and set the variant.

The issue or scenario that i understood is "they wan't to trace the long term and short term absenteeism " through report in our SAP.
