Mail from what email ID in MDM workflow?

Hi SDNers,

When some user receives an e-mail by MDM mail notification in the workflow.

From which mail ID does he/she receives the e-mail? Is there a specific format of the mail ID?

Where can I see the log if my mail notification step in the workflow fails?

Hi,

1.Console maintain the e-mail ID for the user

2.MDIS .ini file , maintain the file server info

3.On the server windows NT hosts file , open it in notepad & maintian the e-mail server´s IP address over there

Basically the workflow notification arrives with the workflow number & workflow name as defined in the DM.

The email address is picked up from the details maintained in the DM.

Hi,

I have given you the detils of both threads - they are both available in the forum and can be accessed by putting in the thread name and clicking the search button.

As explained earlier - when I out in the links it defaults to the main search page forum which will not be of help to you.
