OPC UDS Server

Hi,

I want to retrieve the data from the OPC server. i am using Matrikon server and i created UDS admin. In Data Servers i successfully connected with Server. I create group in server and i added client as item. But when i opened the Query Template

-> Tag Query, it doesnt shows group name and tag name. what is the problem and how to retrieve the data?

When you said "I create group in server and i added client as item" did you mean in the UDS admin tool with the Alias builder screen, or in a Matrikon OPC client tool?

Consider that the UDS Admin tool is used to configure the OPC UDS, which acts as an OPC CLIENT to communicate to the Matrikon OPC SERVER. Creating alias groups/tags in the UDS Admin tool for the OPC UDS will be the same as what you are doing in the Matrikon OPC client tool.

The OPC UDS does not talk to the Matrikon client (it is a client).
