Billing dates in billing plan

Hi friends,

I create sales orders with a billing plan (periodic billing). I want to generate the bills as following :

Contract date from 15.11.2007 to 15.01.2008

First bill on 30.11.2007

Second bill on 31.12.2007 and

the last bill on 15.01.2008.

How do i configure this?

Hi Uday

You can control the same through billing plan rules.You can set the same in customizing spro--sd-billing-billing plan-define rules for determining the dates.

Where in you can use rule 53 monthly if available in your system. if not create the rule by copying any existing and maintain values as

Base line date 07-billing date/invoice date

time period 1

Time unit 3 monthly

I hope you have already maintained other settings for billing plan activation

Please try out and confirm if problem is solved.

Ratna, thanks for your early reply. Tried the setting, but the result is as follows

For a contract from 10.11.2007 to 15.01.2008 the billing plan created is

10.11.2007 - 09.12.2007 with billing date as 09.12.2007

10.12.2007 - 09.01.2008 09.01.2008

10.01.2008 - 15.01.2008 15.01.2008

The desired billing plan is

10.11.2007 - 30.11.2007 with billing date as 30.11.2007

01.12.2007 - 31.12.2007 31.12.2007

01.01.2008 - 15.01.2008 15.01.2008

Please suggest.

In your billing plan configuration,

maintain the rules for Date from & date until & next billing date.

You will be able to get it.

Thanks for the reply. My billing plan is as follows

Dates from : Contract start date

Dates to : Contract end date

Next billing date : Monthly on last of month
