I have included custom field ( CHAR1 ) in MARC table and I have followed exactly by notes 44410, 576160 for maintenance by MM17. I have created new segment ZE1MARCM in IDoc MATMAS03 and new implementation for BADI definition MG_MASS_NEWSEG ( in method ADD_NEW_SEG a have used pattern sample code for proccesing segment ZE1MARCM ) and so on.
It works correctly if I am changing some value to some value ( 'X' to 'A' or 'B' to 'C' and so on ) but it doesn't work if I am changing some value to SPACE ( 'X' to ' ' ).
Standard field from MARC for example MAABC works correctly.
