Hi Experts,
we have integrated SAP Gui to portal with transaction iViews. So I can call the sap gui via sso from Portal. That works fine. The problem is when a new window/or mode is opened this new window is opened without the user specific menu. So the favourites etc are missing. The transaction iViews have the transaction SMEN, so they are opened and display the SAP Easy Access screen. So I guess this transaction code isn't processed when a new window/mode is opened.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards Manuel
Hi Manuel,
You might want to check the following forum thread:
<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/thread?threadID=354379">SAPGUI iview from SAP Portal => create new session results in empty screen</a>
It details how to custmize the file '../irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap/property/Transaction/WinGuiRenderLayer.properties', and update the properties '-wp=false' and 'Workplace=false' to enable the user menu for a new session.
Also, check note #901949 if you get an issue with a pop up window on Windows platform.
Regards,
Joseph
