jms-xi-idoc scenario

Hi

As ECC system is going to receive idoc's we got to set partner profiles in this sytem. If I am not wrong in ECC system we are going to set the partner profiles of XI system ?? or partner profiles of ECC system itself ?? Meanwhile whether we got to set for outbound or inbound ??

Hi

a.Partner profile has to be created in the receiving system of type LS with the

same name specified in the sender business system .

b. inbound

When you are sending the IDOC from XI to ECC, from ECC point of view the partner who is sending the IDOC is XI, so when the IDOC reraches the ECC, it should have the partner profile type ( either LS,KU,,,,,) which is takes the idoc from partner xi....

So partner profile should be in ECC while receiving the idoc from xi, when you have outbound idoc only trfc port which which it enters XI is required,
