Hi Renu,
As Raja.T said, if you are good and interested in Object Oriented Web Programming, I feel you should learn WDA itself.
And above it, XI also is not a bad option. But being a XI Developer, again you end up writing proxies either in Java or ABAP.
If you ask me, I suggest you to learn Web Dynpro itself ...

Hi Future of Web Dynpro ABAP Great ,
Resons .
1 .Now everything in SAP will be in form of Web Service or web Page .Old module pool in future developements will be replaced by Web Dynpros only .So Future ERP will be SOA Based , web dynpro Based .
Now in that huge scope is there for WD ABAP as there are many benefits of WD ABAP over WD Java.
First and formost , Existing ABAP developers in market can now develope web Dynpro by making use of ther ABAP Skills .Other than that if tables , data reside in ABAP Stack then inetaction with same in Web Dynpro ABAP is any time smoother as not adaptive RFC and all.
So now I hope you can make out scope of Web Dynpro .
In future all report , module pool will be replaced with web dynpros .
Regards ,
Parag
