User Fields in SUS

Former Member

Hello!

It was no problem for me to create and use new fields in SUS within a table.

But the header makes some problems.

This means I'm not able to create a field for example in processing ASNs.

I need a new field in the header above shipping means.

How can I handle this?

Thankful for help,

Barbara

Hi Atul!

I use SUS for Plan Driven Procurement (MM-SUS).

And I try to tell you my problem again:

I'd like to insert new fields for example in the window "Process ASN" between the fields of delivery information.

The standard fields are:

Delivery Date (Expected)

Delivery Time (Expected)

Versanddatum

Shipping Time

Means of Transport

Transport ID Code

Bill of Lading

And I'd like to insert one field above Bill of loading.

Please be so kind and give me a detailed introduction of how I can manage this.

And again: It is no problem for me to insert user-defined fields within the tables.

I want to know how I can insert fields in the areas of basic information or delivery information.

Thanks,

Barbara

Hi

This is standard SAP functionality... You cannot place user-defined fileds in the standard tables in-between... (This will involve Standard Modification - SSCR Access Keys might be required, but it is not recommended approach)

Incase of the user-defined fields addition in the Append structure, the new user-defined fields will always be placed after the end of all the standard fields in that particular structure..

Please clarify and confirm the same with SAP by creating a Customer OSS Message as well. Do let me know.

Please tell me if I have understood it the right way:

It is not possible to place user-defined fields in the standard tables in-between,

but it would be able to place the after the standard field of the areas I mentioned above?!?

Could you please tell me how this works...

Thanks a lot,

Barbara

Hi

Yes.. You are quite right... !!

It is not possible to place the fields in-between the standard SAP table however, the bespoke Append structure (name starting with y or z) in this case for User-defined fields can contain bespoke fields in any order.

Do let me know.
