Can you please explain me the difference between Termination Vs Retirement Vs Resignation and also wht are the aspects of ACTIONS in pa40 i need to take care of.

Hi

Termination is something the employee is forced to leave may be on the disciplinary grounds or violation of conduct guidelines

where as the retirement can be the employee completes his tenure completion of his service

resignation is some thing the employee leaves the organisation reasons may be personal or professional such as better oppurtunities etc

for all these Seperation action will do with a different set of reason for the action

Reasons for the seperation

Employee Initiated - Working Conditions / Environment

Employee Initiated - Career Change

Employee Initiated - Compensation

Employee Initiated - Location

Employee Initiated - Work/Life Balance (Hours Worked, Family Resp, etc)

Employee Initiated - Education (Higher Education or New Field of Study)

Employee Initiated - Emigration

Employee Initiated - Declining Performance

Employee Initiated - Abandonment of Duty

Employee Initiated - Failure to Return from Leave

Employee Initiated - Unknown

Employee Initiated - Company to Company Transfer

Employee Initiated - Country to Country Transfer

Manager Initiated - Management Initiated Separation (MIS)

Manager Initiated - Resource Action – Voluntary

Manager Initiated - Resource Action – Involuntary

The actions are the activities of the employees during his/her tenure in the organisations. It comes like Hiring-Transfer/Promotion-Resignation-Withdrawl-Seperation. Termination is nothing but force retirement or retrenchment. Action reason will be sepeate for the both.
