copy of 541

hi all

scenario is

i am sending few materials to outside with copy of movement type 541.....

on the basis of the document number i hav created a returnable gate pass....

but when the material is coming inside again then system is not allowing me to do the copy of movement type 542 on the basis of that previous document number....

how to maintain this scenario???

Hai,

Movement type 541 is used only for sub contracting purpose. For your purpose it is not the movement type to be choosen. Any how If you send the material to subcontractor with 541 movement type the material stock can be updated automatically with 543 movement type once the goods receipt takes place. If you want to take back material issued with 541 movement type you can do with TC:MB1B w.r.to. PO no. and movement type 542. Then your stores stock updates accordingly.

Hi..

If you have created a new movment type copying 542, You need to assign this as a reversal movement in Customizing for movement type.

If you are still facing the problem... please let me know
