Hi,
I have configured service desk on solution manager 4.0, can any one let me know the post installation steps of service desk ie i want to configure mail setup in service desk. I think iam clear on this.

Dear Mr. Baig,
Firstly you need to configure the SMTP service on the Solution Manager system following SAP Note 455140.
Then you can take a look at the note 691303 for configuration of Emails with Support Desk incase of an status change of the Support Notification.
Both the notes are detailed so you can fairly perform the configuration.
