Hi friends
Is it possible to give different credit limits based on different sales areas for a single customer?
Regards
Ramesh
Hi,
Yes u can.......
As per your sales areas first assign credit control area in billing tab of CMR data and go to FD32 and enter credit control area and assign crdit limit here.

Hi
I agree that a different CCA can be assigned to sales area. However I dont think there can be many CCAs to assign to various sales areas. So answered that it wont be posible to decide credit limits based on sales area.
If we are goign by this solution, we should be able to validate why we need so many CCAs, because CCAs are even more high in the org structure than ccode.
Hope this helps

hi Ramesh,
Yes it is possible to have different credit limits based on different sales area for a given customer, but you have to assign these different sales areas to diferent credit control areas, as you can have only a single credit control area for a given sales area.

yes u can have it.
In customer master u assign Credit control area in sales screen . So if u maintained different credit control area in different sales area .
u can very well do it.
In spro- >enterprise structure first define the credit control area (and maintined credit limit)
Then in the same enterprise structure in assignment -> assign the credit control area to sales area .
Then u can assign this credit control area to customer master in XD01 .
This will work

It is not possible, as the maintanence of Credit limit for the customer is based on Credit Control area and Risk category and none of the components of sales area comes into picture.
If this has to be enabled, it has to be enabled through custom process only through user exits.
Hope this helps you.
Reward if this helps.
