Key figure Structure

hi,

Is there a restriction that there can only be 1 key figure structure in the columns section??? If no, how to get more than 1 structure with key figures in them both.

What i need is

my reqiurement is in cols i have:

*char1

key figure structure:

*A1-amt restricted with char2

*A2amt restricted with char2..(in this different values of char2...also there is only 1 kf amt in the infoprovider)

i need to have a variance1 & variance2 field which is the difference of A1,and A2 values of the last two values(or columns) under char1.

hope this explanation is more clearer.

please help implement the same.

Ok,

Then you just have to create a formula in the column structure to calculate the variance.

*char1

key figure structure:

*A1-amt restricted with char2

*A2amt restricted with char2..(in this different values of char2...also there is only 1 kf amt in the infoprovider)

*A1 %A A2 You creates this formula and you will have one structure like:

Value1 char1 -

---

Value 2 Char1

A1--A2A1 %A A2 A1A2--A1 %A A2

If you put the char in rows the structure will be:

-

---

A1 A2 A1 %A A2

Value1 char1

Value2 char1

Thanks for all the replies.

I needed it since right now i have in the column section a characterstic(char1)

and under kf structure i have 2 columns for amount restricted with another char(char2).

now in result i get as many columns as present for char1 and under that the corresponding amount.

i need to get the difference of the corresponding amount of last two such cols of char1.

Please provide pointers on how to do this.Please let me know if i am not clear enough.

Hi,

I suppose to you want to compare two years or two months in the char by the different values of the char1.

You have to put in rows:

Year

Year -1

In columns.

Charac.1

Structure

Amount1 restricted

Amount2 restricted.

I hope to be clear. In rows you have to put the time. In columns you put first the infoobject one without structure and under it the structure with 2 kf restricted by the second characteristic.

Hi,

It is not possible to get more than one structure with key figures in columns or in row. It is reasonably because if you have kf in more than one structure query designer combines the structures and it is not possible combine diferent kf.

there are 2 structures 1 for Key figures and 1 for Characteristics.
