hi all..

i have one doubt.. I gave application to my client. in future my client ask some changes in that screen.That time i will change my R3 system . But what is my question is we changed in R3 system..it will reflect in webdynpro also..or we have to reimport the model? what are the possibilities are there?

Hi,

If you make any changes in your FM in R/3 then you need to do 2 things.

1. You need to re-import model and redefine some context mapping (if you have got some additional parameters).

2. Restart your J2ee instance.

Hi

1) If you ADD new features in your R/3 then you need to reimport the model. if you dont reimport nothing will happen to the existing application ,but you will not get the changes reflected in your application

2) If you Modify any thing to an existing application in R/3 , YOU NEED TO REIMPORT , if not it will throw you dump , as you are trying to access and which is actually there is not the same.

but reimporting the model is the best practise to follow
