Invalid SLD Address

Hi All,

Have encountered a minor problem - cannot access the SLD from the PI Integration Builder main page. The URL for the SLD was incorrectly specified and thus does not open. How and where do you go to update the address of the SLD to the correct address? For example instead of http://xxxxx:55000/sld the address is pointing to http://yyyy:55000/sld. Minor mistake on the Basis install of but severely frustration because this also causes a problem when importing software components from within the Integration Builder as it is pointing towards http://yyyy:55000/sld. Have already checked the parameters within the J2EE Administrator on the backend however all seems to be telling a correct story. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Warren

Hi,

Sorry to mention but I have run SLDCHECK and it fails on the following:

Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

Retrieving data from the SLD server...

Function call returned exception code 4

=> Check whether the SLD is running!

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations

BUT The problem here is In XI Interface the SLD connection is wrongly mentioned... and I want to correct that...

in SLDAPICUST i have placed the sld host name correctly.. but when I am going for the http://devsappi.abbgrain.local:53000/rep/start/index.jsp .. and click system landscape directory It takes me to a wrong place... so I am looking for a place where I can go and adjust that..

I even tried in Visual Admin tool and changed the SLD DATA Supplier .. to the correct one..

what happened was during durring installation the basis guy mentioned a wrong host name for sld.. now I need to fix where all it goes..

Hi Warren,

You have to update host name file with the new address with new IP address

kindly go through the system where you have installed sap

follow the path and find the host file.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

there just save the host name with the new IP address.
