creation of package(Package can not be extended)

Hi Experts,

I am working on verson 4.7E ideas system. when i am creating a package in se80, it is accepting. whenever going to store the object, it is giving the message ' Package can not be extended'. Can any one help me.

While creating the Package, check the package type you have passed for it in SE80.

I think you made it Main Package, if so change it to sub package,else, vice-versa.

Also, in Package Properties tab check wether Package Not Extendable box is checkd?
