Unable to open IR and ID

Hi all,

I am not able to open IR and ID, even settings in the webstart(1_4_2_16) are as follows

file--> preferences --> general --> None

and i even cleared the application folder under the advanced option

Check the following

go to start->drivers->etc->hots

open the host file in notepad. then at the last enter your ip address and the system name ex:

1.0.100.45 xxsapxx.xx.com save the settings.

Now try out by opening the IR.

If oyu are using proxies

open ie->connections->proxy and set the proxy properties there
