Determine the base value for calculating Depreciation

Where do we define the base value for calculating the Depreciation on a particular asset for a company code

Hi,

The base value for caluclating depreciation is defined using the 'depreciation key'

Path: IMG-FA-Depn-Valaution method-Depn key - Calculation method

In it,

For base method - 0014

For WDV - 001

In multilevel method -

a. For WDV - 24 (Net book value)

b. Straight line - 01 (Acq. cost)

Hi

We are using a customised method for Multilevel method. I have set the validity start to Acquisition date of AuC. But still the system is showing me the planned value on WDV and not SLM. What could be the other reason that the system is calculating depreciation on the basis of WDV and not SLM.
