its a Service in the J2EE Engine that is used by an SAP application to access the search, text-mining, and classification functions of Search and Classification (TREX). The service is implemented as the TREX Java Client, which communicates with the TREX Web server using HTTP/HTTPS. The TREX Web server forwards requests from the application to the TREX servers.
