Not finding accounts during GR

While doing GR for material of type ROH i am facing this error.

" Account determination entry for CAIN BSX 0001 _ 0001 not possible "

Message No. is M8147

Where do i miss customization please guide me as its quite urgent.

Hi Venu

You need to complete the customizing in transacaction OBYC

Chart of accounts CAIN

Transaction event key BSX - Inventory postings,in that you need to mainatain Valuation class of the material & G/L account for inventory Postings

Hi,

For you to understand what is missing in G/L assignment and to which key etc....all in one shot solution:

Go to Tcode: OMWB

On the pop-up Cancel and go forward

Click the push button simulation

Enter your plant and material number that you have posting error with accounting

Enter the movement type below

Double click the relevant movement type description underneath. as for example 101 can be used for receiving from PO, Prod Ord etc....you will have to select the correct part of it.

Then, click Account Assignment button.

In its output screen, it shows you everything what is assigned and what is missing.

Then, go back to account assignment either from there itself or using OBYC

Enjoy the configuration of missing ones.
