Release STrategy

pls. consider the below scenario for e.g

Diff strategies:

E1:1Rs - 5000Rs

E2:5001Rs-10000Rs

E3:10001Rs-50000Rs

i have released E1? Now my client wants to change E1 to 1Rs - Rs500? Then only i can release E2 & E3?

How is it possible to do it?

Your requirement is not clear.

I would say if E1 is changed to Re 1 to Rs 500, then change E2 to > Rs. 500 to Rs. 10000

Also, in your case, please consider the scenario where the PO value is Rs.10000.25

Dear Lakshman,

I have the below Release Strategy scenario:

E1:Rs1-Rs1000

E2:Rs1001-Rs5000

E3:Rs5001-Rs10000.

I have released E1. Now my clients wants a change i.e he wants me to change in the below manner:

E1:Rs1-Rs500

E2:Rs501-1000

E3:Rs1001-Rs5000

E4:Rs5001-Rs10000

after making the above changes only i can release E2,E3,E4. How can i do the above changes?

Hi Vineet

I will suggest to maintain values like

1Rs-500

500.01-1000

B'coz suppose ur Po price is 500.50 in ur case it will not trigger any release strategy

comming to next point if u change ur release strategy in betn. It will not taken it to effect until u do some changes in released PO's i.e. ur old po will contain only onld release strategy and If ur trying to create new Po it will pick new strategy
