SP12 - Visual Admin/Security Provider/User Management "Create User" greyed

As part of the ADS configuration, I am trying to "Create User" or group and the buttons are greyed (grayed) out. I am logged into Visual Adminstrator as Administrator so i am not sure why I can't perform these functions.

I can perform many other functions without a problem, but "Security Provider" is giving me problems.

I am running WAS 6.4 SP12.

Hi Jeff,

I guess you have WAS SP12 with J2EE and ABAP stack both. In this case, your UME is maintained in the ABAP stack. So, you can't create user from visual administrator. So. go to ABAP stack and transaction SU01 for ctreating of user.

It will reflect in visual administrator.

There is an edit mode toggle icon (the pair of glasses) that we are suppose to intuitively know to turn on because it defaults to "read only" mode.
