How to connect Visual Composer to access BI query

I would like to know what are the steps to connect VC to BI client using BI query connector

Can you provide any link which provides steps for basis people to configure.

Once you logon to Visual composer if you go to FIND DATA tab... You should see your BW Client in the data service. I think we get to the access to the BW and R/3 clients using SAP Connector. I need any steps how to connect visual composer to BI and R/3 clients so that my basis people can work on that.

you need to create portal system objects for R/3 and BW systems..Check out this blog written by Marcel on how to do this:

also remember to perform the necessary user mappings/sso config for portal userids to the relevant bcked systems.

To create a BI system using the BI Query connector .

Select new form PAR --> select com.sap.portal.systems.BIUDI

click next --> select SAP_BI_Query --> Provide the system name and ID

Go to connection properties and prove the Application server name / Client / Message server

and all the required proeprties . Under the Query area select X

Create a system alias

Select the type of user mapping.
