PAR file- manifest attributes

Hello,

I've got so far in creating and loading a new PAR file but have now hit a problem I can't solve; it loads into the PCD using Admin Console as a test, but when BASIS try and deploy it using SDM it fails with 'no software type declared in SDA manifest'. My SAP_MANIFEST.MF file looks OK (see below); any idea's please ?

Thanks,

Phil.

Hi Phil,

Let me provide you with a couple of useful pointers that could help you resolve your issue:

- check note #696084 to review the process of creating SDA files for PAR files - use sapmake_util.zip and par2sda tools to generate your SDA file

- check note #1111316 if the error you are getting is identical to the one described in this note and your are on NW 7.x release

Regards,

Joseph
