MDM API Queries

Hi

Please help me with the following MDM API queries.

We have an issue with image display in our site, understanding the

following queries will help me to resolve the issue quickly

GetImagePath/GetImageURL Method of CATALOGCACHE CLASS returns the Image path.

Please let me know the following.

1.From where does this image path is constructed ?

2.Is this path construction related to Image Variant Generation?

3.I have the paramters 'Table', 'Variant','ImageID'..

Will I be able to retrieve this image path value using DB?

In which DB Table I can find this image path value?

4.If the 'GetImagePath' function returns null or no value,

what does it signify? How to resolve this so that the function

returns image path?
