Calculationof depreciation value by SLM

Hi

We have a scenario in which the asset explorer is calculating the depreciation value on the asset based on WDV method. The system has been posted a depreciation value which had accumulated in the legacy system. The system is calculating in planned view the depreciation after deducting the depreciation already posted. In the depreciation key assigned to the asset master, in assignment of calculation method, we have maintained the following settings:

1. Base Method - Ordinary

2.Class: Straight Line Depreciation

3.Multilev. Method - 4% on plant and machinery

The issue is - System is calculating depreciation value after deducting the depreciation accumulated in previous year, when it should calculate the same based on the orginal value.

Check the depreciation key definition. set the deprecation start date from the date the acquire the asset.

Give me your ID I would send a screen shot of the parameters to be used for the dep key.
