Hi All,
When i am trying to hire a person against a position, i am getting error No entry in table T503 for PST.
Can any one help me out resolving this?
Regards
Hi Amit,
After you created an employee group, an entry in table T501 is created.
And when a new employee subgroup is created, a new entry in table T503K
is created. The country assignment you made generates an entry in T503Z
. So it seems that the definition is now completed. However, the
business functionality of the employee group and subgroup in the SAP
system is not linked to these single entities. Rather they are linked
to the PERSG/PERSK combination. Until this step, no attribute had been
maintained to this new combination (in technical terms: no T503 entry
has been created), this combination, in the functional sense, is not an
active entry yet.
If you will maintain at least one attribute to this EE group/subgroup
the T503 entry will be created and no error message will occur on
infotype 0000 any more.
So please call any attribute view for table T503 (via IMG or directly
via transaction SM30) and maintain at least one attribute to the new
combinations.
One attribute view to table T503 can be found via IMG path: Personnel
management -> Personnel Administrattion -> Payroll Data -> Basic Pay ->
Define EE Subgroup Grouping for PCR and ... If you change/enter
here one attribute and save afterwards the T503 entry should be
created.
Alternatively, instead of creating a new subgroup, use the entry with
which you can copy an existing one that is via "Edit Employee subgroup
environment". This brings you to the Org.Object Copier for EE subgroups
. It is a generic tool to copy/rename one object to another key. Choose
copy and all relevant tables from the source object are copied into the
target object. The entry will then become available in infotype 0000.
For example: if there is already an EE subgroup A0 and you want to
add a new subgroup T8, you need to have entries to tables T503K, T503,
T503Z, etc. The object copier recognizes all the relevant tables and
copies the A0 entries to T8.
So, if you want to add a new EE subgroup this tool would support you
to make all entries.
Hope this helps clearify the problem!
best regards,
Zsolt
