No stock in unrestricted use stock even after goods receipt

Hi,

I created a purchase order to get some material from a vendor to a plant. Then, I created a goods receipt in transaction MIGO for the purchase order and posted the same.

Still, when I check the material availability in transaction MMBE for that material and plant combination, there is no quantity under "Unrestricted Use" stock. Instead, the quantity for which I created the goods receipt appears under "Open Order Quantity".

Could you please help on this.

Hi Check

Material document in MB51 and check whether u have passed MIGO correctly with Movement type.Storage loc. etc

Hi,

Are you sure the document is posted in MIGO and document number generated.

Or there may be possiblity that instead of saving the document if it is held than also stock will not be updated.At the time of posting the stock type selected if is unrestricted use stock it must appear in same.More over in MMBE click the refresh button and see.

Please also check if you posted goods in Quality stock?

In Migo where tab stock type field it should be unrestricted
